Property Claim Specialist was founded by Minerva Covert, a licensed California Public Adjuster with more than 25 years of experience helping families and businesses recover after disasters. To better serve homeowners affected by California’s wildfires, Minerva partners on select wildfire claims with Glenis Romero-Hargreaves, a respected public adjuster with decades of experience in fire-related recovery. Their collaboration brings together two seasoned professionals who share a deep commitment to helping wildfire survivors rebuild stronger.
Minerva’s Journey
Minerva began her career over 25 years ago in the insurance industry, where she saw firsthand how policyholders often struggled to navigate complex claims alone. Determined to make a difference, she founded her own public adjusting firm in 2007.
Since then, she has successfully represented hundreds of clients throughout California, earning a reputation for skillful negotiation, empathy, and unwavering advocacy. Her focus remains simple yet powerful: guiding homeowners through one of the most challenging times in their lives with clarity, fairness, and confidence.

Glenis began her career in 1987 in the restoration industry, gaining invaluable insight into what families truly face after a disaster. By 1991, she became a licensed public adjuster in California and went on to establish her own firm, specializing in fire-related claims and disaster recovery.
With more than three decades of experience, Glenis has helped thousands of homeowners secure fair settlements and rebuild after devastating fires. Today, she collaborates with Property Claim Specialist exclusively on wildfire recovery efforts, combining her specialized expertise with Minerva’s firm to deliver exceptional results for fire survivors.
